Three Rivers Pharmaceuticals (“3RP”) is a privately owned generic pharmaceutical company formed in April 2000 based outside of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. The company’s mission is to develop and market generic prescription drugs, specifically antiviral medications used in the treatment of Hepatitis C and HIV/AIDS.
By forging partnerships with international manufacturers of active pharmaceutical ingredients (API’s) and utilizing contract manufacturers and contract research organizations (CRO’s) located in the United States, 3RP can develop, seek FDA approval, and market generic drugs less expensively than their competitors.
3RP will concentrate its resources on developing lower cost generic drugs for infectious diseases that have a significant national and worldwide impact and provide public education and disease state management programs for these diseases.
